Below are the list of documents am sending for our kid(minor). Both of us are US citizens who held Indian passports prior.

OCI Fee - $275
ICWF Fee - $3
CKGS Service Fee - $17
FedEx Shipping(from You to CKGS) - $15
FedEx Shipping(from CKGS to You) - $30
Convenience Fee - $11.90
1. Document Checklist
2. Parental Authorization Form(Notarized)
3. 2 photos - 1 affixed to application
4. Parent's Marriage Certificate(Copy)
5. Parents Current Passport(Copy of both of our US passports)
6. Proof of Parent's address(Copy of both of our Driver's Licenses)
7. OCI Application Form(with 1 photo affixed)
8. Proof of Indian Origin - Provided copy of our US passports, copy of Indian passports, copy of kid birth certificate, copy of our OCI cards
9. Birth Certificate(Copy of kid's birth cert)
10. Affidavit in Lieu of originals(notarized)
11. Parent's OCI cards(Copy of both of our OCI cards)
12. Kid's US passport(original and a copy)
Gathering all of the documents has been painful and then, submitting the intial documents on Govt of India website is confusing(the photo image and the minor signature image)
I wish Indian Govt would simplify the document list and also, enhance the website to make it more slick. Plus if Parent's are already OCI holders then, a simply online check would be sufficient(since they(as in Govt of India/CKGS already have our previous OCI documents) rather than having to re-submit the documents again.
I will be mailing the documents soon - let me know if am missing anything.

FedEx shows that it was Signed for by: S.BALBI
I had hoped within 24 hours of receipt of package - they would show status updates esp, since they now require you to send original US passport along with the application.

Spoke with CKGS customer service.
Typically status should be updated within 24-48 BUSINESS hours after package was delivered and if it has been more than that, please call, get it escalated and get a case ID number for follow-up.
I got the case ID # and expect to hear back in the next 24-48 hours.
Finally, after a week - I got an email that confirmed CKGS received our OCI package.
After an hour - the status changed to "Verified"
Last edited by tampaite; 05-17-2017, 10:51 AM .Looks like Original passport is being returned today and tentative delivery date is May 22 - so if anyone wants to know, it will take you about 12 calendar days to get your original passport back!
2 weeks is a long time for CKGS to hold your passport considering you are paying for FedEx Overnight shipping. Turn around time should be less than a week at-most.
Day 00:05/10 - OCI (Minor) Sent
Day 01:05/11 - OCI delivered by FedEx
Day 06:05/16 - Called CKGS for escalation
Day 07:05/17 - App ‘Received’ & 'Not Verified'.
Day 07:05/17 - App Verification is ‘Complete’.
Day 08:05/18 - App is ‘Under Process’ at CKGS
Day 09:05/19 - App is 'In Transit' to Consulate
Day 09:05/19 - App is 'Under Process' at Consulate
Day 09:05/19 - Original PP 'Reviewed' by Consulate and is ‘In Transit’ to CKGS
Day 09:05/19 - Original PP ‘Received’ at CKGS
Day 09:05/19 - Original PP picked up by FedEx.
Day 12:05/22 - Original PP returned(Tentative Date)
