One of the biggest benefits of email is the ability to send documents and files as attachments. All email programs allow you to attach multiple pages either as one attached document, such as a multi-page Word document, or as individual files. Even free Web email applications, such as Gmail and Yahoo! Mail, provide the ability to add multiple pages as one or several attachments. The specific process of loading the attachments to the email depends on your email client application.
Open the Microsoft Outlook (or similar) email program on your computer.
Create a new email message and type the recipient's email address in the "To:" field.
Type a subject in the "Subject" line and then type your email message into the body of the email.
Click the "Message" tab in the "Include" group on the top navigation bar. Click "Attach File." A file navigation window opens.
Navigate to and click the first file you want to send as an attachment.
Press and hold the "Ctrl" key and then navigate to and click the second file you want to attach. Continue to hold the "Ctrl" key and click each additional file to attach to the email. Click "Insert" when all files are selected. All files will attach to the email.
Click the "Send" button. The email with multiple pages of attachments is sent. Note that each file may also contain multiple pages.
Navigate to your Web-based email provider, such as mail.yahoo.com, and log into your email account.
Click the "New" button to create a new email.
Type the recipient's email address in the "To:" field.
Type a subject in the "Subject" line and then type a message in the body of the email.
Click the "Attach Files" button. A new page opens with a list of input boxes labeled "File 1," "File 2," and so on.
Click the "Browse" button next to the "File 1" input box. A file navigation window opens.
Navigate to and click the file you want to send as the first attachment. Note that this file (as well as all attached files) may contain multiple pages. Click the "Open" button. The file name and path is loaded into the input box.
Click the "Browse" button next to the "File 2" input box. The file navigation window opens again. Navigate to and click the second file you want to send as an attachment and click "Open."
Repeat for each attachment. Click "Attach More Files" if more input boxes are needed.
Click the "Attach Files" button when all file names are loaded. The files are uploaded and attached to your email.
Click the "Send" button. The email, with attachments, is sent from your Web-based email account.
